Hunting for small game is prohibited during moose hunting season.

Small game hunting is open for a few days each year after big game hunting. This short period varies annually according to the terms announced by the ministry.

 Hunting Dates 

You can obtain the mandatory access right by visiting the Causapscal reception desk, via the virtual reception desk (PAV), or by phone.
A small game hunter has access to the entire territory of the Dunière Wildlife Reserve.
You must declare your daily harvest at the Causapscal reception desk by calling 1-888-730-6174 or by email at accueil.causapscal@cgrmp.com, providing your name, the number of grouse shot, and the date of the hunting day.
Important note: The road network is not necessarily cleared of snow at this later time in the fall. Caution is required. Snow and ice may be present.
The use of ATVs is prohibited.
